I’ve hesitated to make omelets on Sunday mornings because I have never had any success with them. My mom will use some Indian spices [turmeric] [cumin] in her omelet’s which help enhance the flavor. For all you non-spicy foodies out there please don’t run because you heard “indian spices”. Turmeric enhances your food with a mild fragrance, not to mention all the health benefits attached to this bright orange spice. Cumin adds a nutty, mild peppery flavor along with many health benefits. This omelet is so yummy it’s not only for breakfast, it can make it to the dinner table.
Step One:
Cut up your ingredients.
Step Two:
Combine eggs, turmeric, and cumin to a bowl
Step Three:
Add milk to the bowl
Step Four:
Add salt and pepper to taste
Step Five:
Add other ingredients and whisk together
Step Six:
Pour onto heated pan
YUMMY
Looks so yum!
Thanks, hope you get to try it out!
I have been trying to incorporate turmeric more due to it’s amazing anti-oxidant properties. I already use cumin in so many of my creations. I never thought of putting either one in eggs, though. Thanks for the idea!
When I make black bean tacos I’ll throw some in with the black beans as well. Happy Healthy Cooking!
This looks so yummy!
